Learn, Grow, and Excel.

The Economics Awareness Program strives to provide education across the country to students who have not yet graduated high school. We aim to distribute the curriculum we create, host guest speakers, and provide free workshops to reinforce our goals. We also strive to expand our web of clubs in schools and in-person locations to more directly impact students and join together to make everyone more economically and financially aware.

EAP is dedicated to impacting our community! One of the key ways we do this is through our Chapters Initiative, which empowers students to establish an EAP chapter at their school. Our chapters help students explore and understand important topics in economics and finance.  EAP will provide assistance every step of the way to ensure you create a successful school chapter! If you are interested in creating a school chapter visit our "Start a Chapter" page to learn more!

Did you know that 25% of U.S. adults are financially illiterate and that Gen Z has the lowest financial literacy (38% correct answers on a literacy test)? (Moneyzine.com) This is a growing problem that has been overlooked, even in the 21st century. Basic financial and economics knowledge is essential for students as they prepare for adulthood. Topics such as budgeting, credit and debt, and taxes are all part of a person's everyday life. Lack of knowledge leads to confusion and poor financial decisions—ones that can be costly in the long run (both physiologically and financially).

The good news is that EAP is here to change that—we hope to make today's students the most financially literate generation. If you can, please support our cause. Every penny counts... together, we can combat financial illiteracy.
